Previously, Hoshahnia served as Legislative and Communications Director for New York Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, leading the communication strategies that secured legislative victories on child data privacy, consumer protection and healthcare justice.

During her time in Washington, D.C., Hoshahnia worked at the intersection of public affairs, government relations and strategic communications through her work with Novel Strategies and as a legislative intern in Senator Chris Murphy's office.

Originally from Connecticut, Hoshahnia graduated from American University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Administration and Public Policy.
