Jake Petzold is a writer and strategist in New York City who has worked with CEOs and other major executives, senior elected and appointed officials, and philanthropic and educational leaders. Before joining Stu Loeser & Co., he worked in public affairs at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group), a teaching and learning platform for the world's top professionals. Jake was previously an independent consultant in Los Angeles, where he wrote speeches for Mayor Eric Garcetti, among other clients. Jake began writing for then-City Council President Garcetti in 2007. He later trained at West Wing Writers in Washington, working on projects for leading figures in politics, business, philanthropy, and entertainment. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College and served as a House of Representatives Page in the 110th Congress. Jake is currently working on a book about vice presidential selection.
